Global Reset is a well-written, engrossing novel of suspense. It held my attention from beginning to end and, at times, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. If you like a good suspense novel, this is a must-read for you. I enjoyed traveling with the characters in this novel from one end of the globe to the other and learning things about other parts of the world I had not previously known. The Clancyesque international intrigue novel about terrorism has an ingenious, if somewhat fantastic plot, in which a horrendous act of aggression against the center of Islam is intended to be blamed on the United States. The idea works, and the story has a tremendous pace and forward drive. The reader is carried along willy-nilly. All the tropes of suspense fiction – secret messages, conspiracies, assassinations, diplomatic maneuvering, high-level decision-making – are here, plus some the author thought up. Our hero looks in one and you think that walking in will result in a certain happening. Suddenly, everything you thought was going to happen go in another direction and there is a new hallway with more doors.
